keep in mind you have to cut the upc code from the back of the box, if having everything complete matters to you, then this will be a major bummer.

Nope, just use the UPC sticker that TWEC puts on the wrapping with the price on it.

thats not what they told me...as a matter of fact when i bought the gba deal, they specificially told me i needed to cut the upc code on box from the GBA and game and two managers even verified it for me.

If two managers told you the Xbox was $499 would you beleive them? Fact is, the rebate company handles the rebates, not these two managers.
Or would you believe a person who has got over 40 rebates from TWEC stores who's only sent in the stickers and kept his box art in tact?

I picked up a couple of things at Coconuts that were eligible for TWEC rebates and was worried about ruining the box too. So I emailed the rebate company and they said that it was ok to send in the UPC that was attached to the sticker. If you're not sure...check the rebate form and there should be a way to contact them and ask.

You can get UPC codes anywhere, actually:
http://www.upcdatabase.com
The UPC *stickers* that are on the outside wrapping are easily discarded. I suggest sticking with those to make sure you get your rebate since they have worked well in the past.

On my rebate forms...they listed www.rebateshq.com as the provider of the rebate. This was for the Simpson's DVD. I don't know if it's different for MVP 2004.
FYE stores in the mall have the same deal going. I don't know if it's a nationwide chain or not, but they are all over the place in indiana.
The rebate thing scares me too, so this is what I'm going to do. There is a misprint in thier add that lists the game for $29.99 with a 10 rebate. The real deal is $49.99 with a 30 rebate. I'm going to take it to Circuit City and buy it for $28. I'll be saving $2 due to their 110% guarantee.
For those of you who already have purchased the game, what is your opinion of it?
