I asked that a few posts back. Because I used my check card and have enough left in there to cover it with the deal (granted I'm gonna have to toss some more in next week before my fees hit). You get a conformation email saying what happened, I'd use that to my avantage if they decided to change it to full price. More than likely they'll just cancel the order. Its easier to do that than to deal with hundreds or thousands of people getting their credit card companies involved

Max Payne 2 is the ultimate filler item. You can get seven copies for about $3.60 shipped if you go the used route. If you get them by the end of the week, trade six of them for credit ($.50 eachx6 = $3.00, plus $20.00 extra credit, plus 10% more card equals $25.30 in credit) for a six to one flip... most likely you'll need to trade in to multiple stores, and will need some other filler items, but that's an insane return on flipping. If you're willing to take a hit on your profits, order them with faster shipping... even next day air plus tax will only be about $10.50, so you'll still be trading on a 2.5 to one margin.

Edit: If you don't want to go overboard on MP2, you could just order three of the $2.99 non-sports Xbox/PS2 games--any three of them will cost you $3.xx depending on your tax and you can trade them for $1 each plus $10 plus 10% ($14.30) which is a four to one trade; two day air shipping will guarentee you get them before the end of the week, and it'll ring you $7.50ish, so you'll trade two for one... still pretty snazzy.

Yeah, they can't charge you full price when you agreed to a certain amount to be charged to your card. They can cancel the order but not charge more.

I would imagine Gamestop will cancel all orders no matter how many are placed. I mean, they didn't think twice when they cancelled my MGS3: Subsistance bonus disc from me without notice. Bastards. The only orders I see actually going through will be any that are filled before management catches wind of this glitch.

During the FYE $10 glitch a few months back I placed tons of orders and several of those orders shipped. I figured that if these don't ship that's fine. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have too many regrets regarding things I wished I ordered if they do indeed ship. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The 8 games I ordered were over the span of four or five orders. I didn't see the sense in using the coupon each time for a game under $10 (especially since it's a bit of a hassle) so I'd just add games (the Max Payne series for instance) until the amount was around $10 or so and placed it.
