Can you guys tell me where I can find the best deals (or, if time and energy permit, list all the deals)?

Gamestop has a poster in store, t-shirt online.
Ebgames has t-shirt both in store and online.
Might be better to wait till next week, when the ads for that week arrive. BB/CC Might have it cheaper or with a gift card.

Probably some other $50 game was advertised for $27.88 and CC was OOS so a raincheck was issued. Most rainchecks can then be used for any game for whatever % off of $50 = $27.88... or something...

What other store issue raincheck other than Target? I am new to this raincheck thing.

According to trustcompany's topic about next weeks ads on the post your own deals board, you get a $15 gift card when you purchase the XBOX or PS2 verion at Circuit City.
I think Target had a gift card offer the game, but a $10 one instead of $15.

EB Games has a deal going where you bring in 2 games you can get Spider-Man 2 for $29.99. Of course "exclusions apply." I tried asking the guy working there about these, and he said all were accepted except ones you bought already previously owned (and only GCN, Xbox, or PS2 games were accepted for the deal). My question is (though I didn't think of it at the time): how do they know I bought the game used? Anyway, I've tried this crap before with it only ending in failure.
Another (and easier to understand) deal is at GameStop where you trade in the first Spiderman game and get Spider-Man 2 for $39.99.
These could be YMMV, or universal. Just wanted to tell ya's. :)

Ive never traded in games at EB, but at Gamestop they make me write down my name and some other stuff (I dont remember what exactly). Perhaps they keep records of that on the computer.
Anyone know if it would be fine for me to trade in 2 PS2 games to pick up the X-box version of Spiderman 2?

It's a new policy they have for tradeins at almost all chain stores. They take down this stuff and you have to be 18+ years old or have parental consent due to I guess parents compalining before or stolen merchandise. Only one that doesn't have age limit is EB. (At least I think they don't, or maybe they're just assuming I'm 18. After all, I'm only 6 months away)

this might have just made my decision.
but that circuit city deal seems nice...
however, tax is more expensive than shipping and handling at overstock I believe. hmm... it actually won't be...
and the best buy $15 card seems nice. I might get a GH with it and a GGC.

bump
or we could use the $10 coupon from TRU on the game (and pay $5.00 for a new gamepad for either the gamecube or the PS2 I think).
has anybody else found a good deal? does anybody know what kind of deal FYE has?

XBOX
When a game is on multiple systems, I always go for XBOX, best graphics best sound, no choppy PS2 crap. Better controller in my opinion.

sadly, that's the console I don't have.
man, I buy a GC because of the Zelda at Spaceworld 2000. Then they give me this wind waker crap (still a good game even though it got a little boring at the end, but it wasn't what they showed at space world) At least they're coming out with a new one that at least has an adult Link.
well, that ends my rant.
