How to delete Comcast email

I have all of my mail still on their server .

Every time I re-install windows and configure my email I end up with every Comcast email I've ever gotten .

Please help .

Mac or windows?

I use Opera to send/recieve my mail .
Windows .

1) Tools>Mail and Chat Accounts
2) Highlight the mail account and click 'edit'
3) Click the 'Incoming' tab
4) UNCHECK 'Leave messages on server'

You might have to log into Comcast's web email and manually delete them.

Hmm... strange. Have you tried any other e-mail clients like Thunderbird or outlook express?
