Did a search on Pricegrabber and came up with Full Auto being 2.42 at Atomic Park. Looks like you have to go through Price Grabber to get it for this price. Try going through this link:

Well, what's more suspicious to a person filling the orders, a sudden rush of 100 orders or a sudden rush of 100 orders requesting 5+ of the same thing?
We are hoping to stay as far under the radar as we can and people who go into with that mentality (it won't work, better order 10 so I have presents to give away at Christmas) just fuck it up for everybody who actually want in on the deal.

Sounds great but don't be surprised to never see your order, no matter how "official" this e-mail sounds.
I saw another game I wanted recently, Rogue Trooper for Xbox, advertised at the SAME EXACT PRICE POINT by Atomic Park and was skeptical of that price.
Even more so, after I check the company on resellerratings.com and learned they're rating is in the toilet (5.1 out of 10) with TONS of feedback from people expressing "completely dissatisfied.
Think about it, how could they possibly offer an Xbox 360 game at this price, let alone the Xbox game I wanted which was at least $20 below what it was selling for everywhere else.
Atomic Park is a SCAM, so don't anyone be fooled.
Just check the ratings for yourself.

Is it a scam? Although I have no experience with this site, one would think that if it was a "scam" they would have more realistic prices, and on games that more people would actually want. It may be a badly run site, but I don't think that qualifies it as a scam. The fact that they raised the price after everybody ordered means that this was a simple price mistake. Whether they will honor people's orders is anybody's guess.

its a price mistake, not a scam. With the mistakes most of the time they won't ship it. There have been a few cases of stores honoring the mistake but those are far and few between. For the most part the most you get out of something like this is a $5 coupon for most sites like amazon and overstock.
Thats why I can say with relative confidence that the odds of them actually shipping are very low. I did order 2 myself just in case, i mean it doesnt cost anything to try but i'm not expecting to get anything out of this deal.

They advertised the EXACT SAME PRICE for another game, this one for the original Xbox, on a game that should have cost at least $29.99
They are doing this so that their name and Web site gets free advertising, since when you go to pricegrabber.com or, as in my case, gamerankings.com, their Web site pops up as having the lowest price and gets you to travel there.
It's the best form of free advertising a Web site can get.
And did you even bother to read the comments on atomic at resellerratings.coms?
Most are complaining about how they bought something "cheap", never got it and cannot get a response via phone or email out of the company.
The fact that the advertised two games recently for less than $3 is no MISTAKE, as you like to refer to it.
It IS a scam and its gulliblal people, like yourself, that keep these kinds of businesses going and giving them incentive to pull off the kind of tactics they do.
Believe me, in two weeks or less, these guys who got the email confirming the sale will be right back here complaining about how it never shipped and they can't reach the company, just like the rest of those who got ripped off and posted about it at resllerratings.com
It's the old bait-and-switch tactic being employed by Atomic, except instead of selling you another game/item they simply switch the price on you.

I just called Atomic Park, and they claimed that they are trying to work it out with their distributor to honor that price (as it is the distributor's fault). If not, I am supposed to have the option to cancel the order.
I will pursue legal action with them if they pull any shit on me.

Hmmm... no email for me yet... I'm still holding out hope but being realistic I doubt I'll get it. The demo sucked though and I would probably only play the game to unlock easy achievements and then trade it away for something else anyway.

It sucks that they charged our cards and THEN decided they couldn't fulfill the order, but let's be realistic. Were you going to be giving Atomic Park a lot of business in the future even if they had come through on the deal? Your sense of outrage is misplaced. They have no obligation to come through on price mistakes.

Everyone that got charged, and then have the order cancelled, make sure to rate them at reseller ratings and price grabber (especially PG, since they are a "featured" merchant). Also if you have the time, file a complaint with your state Division of Consumer Affairs (or similar department).

just a bump to say i filed a complaint to the better business bureau...I did not like how they charged cards and then canceled and offered the game for a $2.00 discount:roll: ...they should not be doing that (charging cards first)...Maybe other people should also file complaints just to cause a headache, i dont know if anything will come of it but i felt good doing it;)

I just filed a report on them thru the BBB. I suggest everyone who got charged do the same.
Its been a while since i've looked at the law but I believe once your card has been charged its a legally binding contract and they will HAVE to ship your games out. Thats why most places like amazon won't charge until the item ships.

Oh and FYI the BBB can actually get stuff accomplished. I had them make paypal reverse a decision and issue me a full refund. Plus its free and takes 5 minutes so its not too hard to do.

FYI ignore whatever they say. Just because its on their site doesnt make it legal. Just look at my policy at the bottom. The simple fact is once you are charged its legally binding. That is why every major corporation won't charge you until the item has shipped.
Oh and ncibob they probably charged you before the e-mail. It takes several days for the credit card charge to be posted.
