I noticed in the main forum about the two $20 games for $30 at Best Buy. Some people have said they can just use the GGC on PC games to get the same deal, some others say it doesn't work. Anyone know the straight dope? Might be the best deal for Neverwinter Nights Diamond for me!

Appears that it is YMMV.
As I said in the main forum - I have used the GGC twice (the only 2 times I have used it) on PC games - Rome Total War Barbarian Invasion Expansion and Oblivion. It was this year with the new GGC at the Bridgewater, NJ Best Buy. I don't remember if they had to manually adjust it or not -- but it wasn't a big deal if they did.
The coupon states "$5 off any video game software or accessory $19.99 and up"
Your best bet is to give it a try and see.

From my past experience with the GGC & computer games, the register automatically knocks the $5 off without issue for video games, though for PC games, it seems like that the register won't do it automatically. The rep needs to do it manually, and your out is that it does list "software" on the back of the GGC.
Like all cases when the register doesn't do it automatically, it turns somewhat YMMV.
