Looks like the rumors were true, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is headed to the PSP (and PS3):

I hope its better than their other games in the "Travels" series. The cell phone Travels games were an abomination.

Do we really need Oblivion on the PSP? The system's not very powerful and I honestly don't want to try and play first person games on the system. I'm fairly confident that 90% of games didn't need to be made and this only helping to prove that.

I dont think its going to do well on psp. ^agreed. FP on the system, and the bad-moderate graphics wont do it.

I think it'll be great, but great only in how it will work together with the PS3 game at the same time... may actually turn out decent...

This game has been out for 10 months now. Us 360 owners and for the PC owners have enjoyed it. It will be good on PS3 but will teh suxorrz!!!!1!!!11! on PSP

looks good to me from what the PSP can handle, plus I'd like to see anyone here on CAG make someothing look better on the PSP... it's easyer said than done.

The magazine scan looks horrible. It looks better in the magazine.

my question is wont it make more sense to release a PS2 version? It has a higher user base than the other system combin and it is about as powerful as a PSP.
