As the weeks go by and my DVR fills up I am realizing that I just don't have time to watch all of the new shows I'm recording... anyway I have Smith, Jericho and Studio 60 set to record every week and can probably only watch one of them. Any thoughts?

Studio 60 is excellent so far, but I don't know anything about the other two.

Whoops, I forgot about that one - I have that on the DVR too...

While I like Jehrico and haven't watched Smith, Studio 60 is a great show.
I would recommend this and maybe Jericho if you do have time.

jack-off... i mean Stand Off
if you want something the likes of Vanished, Justice, Heroes, Eureka.
If Heroes actually is in that mix, I'd take Heroes. But all 4 of those are the new shows I've like the most so far.
Most of my family thinks Jericho is crap (although I like it) so that might be a good 1st candidate to chop.
Smith is basically a rip off of Ocean's Eleven (you know the really cool smart thief group that can pull off pretty much any crime) so far. I doubt it will be as good as Thief (fx show that was canned) but I'm enjoying it so far.

Studio 60 and Heroes are the two that have held my interest so far.

Jericho is shit and I haven't seen Smith.
Studio 60 is great and Hero's is fine, but slow, it can go either way.

I just watched the first episode of Heroes, and it is pretty excellent. There's nothing else new that I'm willing to watch until January, when the new FX series, Dirt, starts.

Thief wasn't canned. That was marked as a "mini-series". I actually think Heroes is a mini-series, not a standing series, but I may be wrong.

True, it was ordered as a mini-series but if it had done well in the ratings it was going to continue . It ended up doing horribly and wasn't extended.
Basically instead of giving it a 13 episode 1st season trial run fx went even cheaper with a 6 episode mini series trial.

Smith is f/ing awesome. You got Ray Liotta for acting ability, Amy Smart for eye candy, and explosions, action, and Inside Man-esque plots in between. If you call yourself a man, how could you not watch it?!
Heroes is a good choice too.

Jericho........ lets hope this one doesn't get canned before the end of the season :( other wise we won't know who attacked the US :(
No love for my favorite new show of the season? Ouch.
Kidnapped--Great show, very prison break/24 like. Action packed. Very smart and witty. Excellent.
Smith looks interesting. I saw Ray Liotta outside of a movie theatre in L.A. two years ago.

My guess is that probably won't be known until the end of the series, if at all.
Also, other than torrents, is there anywhere I can catch the first 2 episodes of Jericho?
If I have to resort to torrents, would someone lead me in the right direction.
And on topic, I'd have to agree with Heroes, atleast on the anticipation of whats going to happen.
And thus far I've been impressed with Standoff. Too bad all the Fox shows are on hiatus until the end of the MLB playoffs.
Edit: Forgot about Smith, have to watch the 1st 2 episodes of it.
Going to try and catch The Nine this week as well.

I didn't think Heroes was going to be good at all. I was surprised how it kept my interest and I really wanted to watch more.
I thought it was really interesting to have a teenage girl being indestructible.
I wonder if the little kid is like "Reed Richards" type character. Will he invent gadgets?

The first episode of Jericho is online, maybe the second too.
I don't see what you guys like about it, truely boring.

I've seen most of them, and hated most of them, although I didn't mind Smith or Help Me, Help You.

The head producer back at comic-con said that there is no planned ending for the series. Basically as long as the fans keep watching, they'll keep writing episodes.

If you have Comcast they have both episodes On Demand. I forget what the folder it is in is called but just look and you can find it pretty easily. I think its Network Programs or something.

See thats where it sucks. I have Comcast, but no OnDemand, or I'd be set good.
So it looks like torrents are going to be my route for some of the shows I've missed already.
