Has any information been released on how these two will connect? Like maybe download demos to the ds from the wii?

Yeah, seems to me that it was already stated that the Wii will also be it's own DS demo station. I don't have a link to back that up, but it seems that it was mentioned in the E3 keynote. Either way, it'll work well for DS owners.
I'm also wondering if there'll be extra DS connectivity on certain games ... guess we'll see in 2 months.

Yeah, Nintendo stated something like that would be possible to do in the future.
The only game as of now, is the new Pokemon Battle Revolution game, it will be able to connect to Pokemon Diamond & Pearl for the DS. And I believe it will be playable online via Wifi as well.

I seen an article on some minigames(or some virtual games) had duckhunt, one player shoots, other with the ds directs the ducks. Pretty neat for multiplayer.

I think remember seeing that too, however, it was just talking about possibilities and not actual things in development.

I read that it will work as a controller. Although I'm assuming this only works for a few games. This is a guess, but maybe you can use the touch screen as a keyboard of sorts for the online capabilities?
