I just stopped by the EB in Queens, NY yesterday and they had in their clearance section some GameCube batteries. They were marked down from $49.99 to $24.41, but when I brought it to the register they rang up at $7.21. There was one more there when I left. It was the black color battery. I'm not sure if its universal, but the computer had the mark down in it, it wasn't written on the tag, so it might be universal. YMMV.

They also had All-in-one PS1/N64/GB/PS2 Dexdrive type units (although not Dexdrive brand). It was able to copy saves and such to and from memory card and cartridges to the computer. It was priced at $1.42. Thoucht someone might want one, there were two left there. I didn't buy one since I already had the original dexdrives, but it looks like a good deal.

It is YMMV, those are part of the special 70% off clearence bin. I picked up one months ago, but have yet to see another in stock. If you can find one, it will probably be $7.21, but there is no guarantee with the clearence items.

EB in the new Queen's Mall. Both batteries there were $7.21 (I check them both and was going to buy both but decided to leave one for e someone else). Both of the multi dexdrive-type units were $1.42.

It's always worth a look-see if you're near one.

It's portable power, roughly 1.5 hours with a screen. Noy much, but it's better than no gaming at all.

EDIT Supernothing beat me to it.

I could use another battery... this is like for mobile screens right?

Anyone want to pick one (or more) up for me? I'll either pay or trade (You'd get a better trade out of me though ;0 ). I could use a dexdrive-type thing too...

Do they have one for my Panasonic Q? ;)

I definately would like one of those all-in-one Dexdrives... but I'm on the West Coast! :(

Well, shoot, I guess I should have picked the all in one dexdrives up, didn't know anyone was interested. If I have a chance I'll swing by and grab the rest of these items from the Queen's Mall EB and post up here for trade or sale for the actual purchase price plus actual shipping. Wouldn't dream of making a profit off another CAGer!!!

Just FYI, tried it out. It works great. Let it run on my GCN with screen on and it lasted almost 2 hours.
