NEW CAG NBA 2K7 league. Start playing some games.

schedule is up. Its a flex schedule so doesn't matter when or in what order you play your games. Hopefully people can average two games a week.

A few rules for now.

No fast breaks unless its after a steal or a block.

Must play on ball defense.

Basically play some sim basketball. Spread the ball around, don't try do to everything with your star player. Dont just go for dunks or 3's, majority of points should be midrange jumpshots. Dont run up the score.

I take a more hands off approach to running leagues. Since we all have responsiblities (school, work, ect.) it will be up to you guys to keep up with the league and league news. I will rarely PM people but if you are seriously interested in the league then you shouldn't have any trouble keeping up with it.

for right now this is how updates will be. Ill edit the title of the thread with the date of the update and maybe a link in the op but the update will be in the thread. like this post.

So for now I'll just see how sign up go til friday afternoon then see where to go from there.

I'm a Bulls guy I am from Chicago and lived here all my life. Now I am pretty sure no one wants the Bulls but me. I do have other teams I would be interested in using so I would not quit the league.

I don't know why you keep asking me this but I would not quit the league.

I have already competed in other CAG leagues in the past with no problems so I don't see why there is an issue.

I really was not originally interested in a draft league i the first place but I just wanted to compete and have fun in a basketball league this year. I am pretty excited to find out that we are going to have a CAG non-draft league.

My main question is about the fact my 360 is dead and I will not have one for a about a week and a half. Now is this a problem? Please let me know.

yea, it seemed like you were gonna quit if you didnt get all of your bulls players in the other league...that one guy mentioned drafting wallace, and you responded with something along the lines of "well, now i dont know if i want to be in this league anymore"...that's what led to these conclusions, but if that's not the case, then great...we can't always have the teams we want and i know many people want teams like dallas, miami, san antonio, etc...and this year the bulls are actually a very good team, so don't just assume nobody else wants them ;)

you know what's funny about this? when you first get the game and put the disc in, it asks you what your fav team is and i picked bobcats...well evertime you start up the game thereafter, it goes to the quick play screen by default with your team vs another team (though you aren't forced to play the match), and mine was bobcats vs hornets...just something i found coincidental :D

you mean an online trade within a leauge? or a trade in like season or association mode?

for online trading, the admin must approve the trade after the offer is accepted

for trading in season and association mode, make sure the "interest bar" is almost all the way full or they will decline the offer or counter offer (most of the time they just decline the offer)

i had 2k6 for xbox 1, and it played smooth but idk about it being "smoother than 2k7"...and i only heard that complaint from one guy anyway...he probably has a problem with his connection or the other person's connection anyway...2k7 plays smooth on my 360 for me at least...

and yea, 2k6 is still playable online (unlike EA games, 2k keeps the servers for their older games)
