Just the Wii for the holidays, but either (maybe both) of the other next gen systems in 07.

I'll still be playing my 360 .
I intend on getting a Wii , enventually .
I might hold out till next Christmas and see what game Nintendo adds to a bundle ala Mariokart/Zelda Gamecube bundles .

PS3 for me.
If I can't get my hands on a PS3 then I'll be playing PS2 and of course PSP since MGS: PO comes out this winter :D

Nothing new for me. I'm too cheap and poor. Besides, I've got about 20 PS2 games still in the shrinkwrap that I still need to play.

This poll is too broad.
If it was "buying", then it would be a Wii, since I just bought my 360 this week.
If it was "playing", then it could be any combination of Wii, 360, PS2, DS, Saturn, or DC.

I will be buying a Wii thanks to the Amazon preorder, and playing/loving my 360. I'll probably end up getting a PS3 when they become widely available (read: March).

Well, I was saying the poll is too broad because it includes two different things: buying and playing. Including a bunch of different options in the question dilutes the results of the poll.

This Next-gen leap isn't as impressive as the previous ones. N64 was downright ugly in comparison to the PS2.
This round is only a matter of Sweatshine and Explosions.

It has to be the Wii right now since it's the cheapest one at the moment. I actually almost have the money to get it at EB with credit so it would be nice if they revealed their plans sometime before the launch. I'd love to get a PS3, but it's just too much money to get right out of the gate. I'm hoping I can get one sometime next year, but for now the Wii's a much more feasible purchase out of the big three for me. I'm also working on getting the money to get a PSP in time for Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops in December.

PS2 all the way. The last two games I buy this year are going to be FFXII and Guitar Hero II; add in that I still have to finish Okami and Yakuza and I've got more than enough to keep me occupied until I can afford to go next-gen.

Sticking with the 360. If the Wii proves itself as more than a gimmick, I'll get one after a price drop. It would be pointless for me to buy a new system right now anyway as I have several 360 games I've barely touched, and the HD-DVD player will have me watching more movies than usual once it comes out as well.

I'm trading in my PSP for a shiny, used PS2 soon. So it'll be PS2/GCN/DS for me this holiday season!

Playing and loving the 360 for 3 main reasons:
1) Online gaming is key for my choice in system, and, to me, there is no way Sony can compete (quality, not quantity - as in choices/options/play vs. # of subscribers) with the online-gaming giant that is Microsoft.
2) The same games are coming out for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and since I already have a 360, it would be much smarter to pay $60 to play the games I want, instead of $660.
3) I'm skeptical of the other two systems, but mainly the Wii. I already know that Sony will probably deliver (at least) a decent system, and everyone who ends up with one - and doesn't sell it for a Wii - will like it, but with the Wii system, I don't know what to expect at all.
If I get the other 2 systems, it will probably be the Nintendo Wii for my August birthday, and a PS3 sometime in 2008, if ever. Viva la Xbox!

First party / Third Party/ Both games
First party / Third Party/ Both accessories
What accessories, if any, do you buy for your systems
Where do you buy (online auctions/stores B&M/ flea markets/ et cetera)
Do you trade games straight up (trade forums) or trade in for credit in B&M stores
owing to the upcoming launches, how about if you're camping/taking a chance on finding a system on a shelf instore/pre-ordering in store or online, et cetera

I want a Wii. Maybe I will wait and use the gift cards that I get for Christmas to buy one.
Wii for me. 20+years of gaming goodness inside a console of 3 DVD cases in size and costs less than a fancy CheapyD meal. I'm in!
