I played my first game in the $50,000 buy in competitive tourny, and before the first hand 4 people bailed out. Is this some exploit where they win and pad their money without even playing? If yes, why the hell can't MS fix it.

found this on the achievements site, sad what people will do for achievement points:
EASY ONLINE GLITCH SPECIFICATIONS AND MINIGUIDE
All you have to do is go in an online game, and when the game starts, pull out your ethernet cable that leads from your modem to your router FROM THE ROUTER (The modem is the box with the standby, the router is the D Link or Linksys or whatever you have). I turned up my TV volume, since my router was far away, so I could hear when it had worked. It works everytime. What you do is you start the game (fastest money is competitive tournaments online), and then once another player is thinking, you pull out the plug. Wait until you hear a sound from the TV, it sounds kinda like getting an achievement, and plug the cable back in and run over to your console. You will see that it says that you placed in 1st and you will get a lot of money, once you work your way up. It doesn't take very long, and it works, I tried it. This can get you a quick 55 points. Tournament Pro, Chunk of Change, and Millionaires Club are all easily gainable by this glitch. Also, you're kind of doing the other kids a favor by quitting, because they don't lose anything (the money you earn at the end isn't coming from their pockets), but their chances of winning are increased because you, being the good person that you are, decided to exit the game so everyone else had a better chance of winning Very Happy. For Invitationals you get $4,000 per game, then $16,000 for Regionals, $200,000 for Nationals and $2,000,000 for Worldwide. Good luck glitching!

What a load of bs. If I'm playing "Texas Hold Em'" online I want to PLAY people. Yes the achievements are nice but I like the game.

Running around unplugging cables sounds like fun. I can't for the life of me understand these geeks who get more fun out of crap like that than playing the game.
I don't know what happened, but I got booted out of a tournament game and won $60,000 for free. I didn't unplug anything or mess with any of my internet wires, it just made it seem like everybody else left and I was the last one there so I won the money. Maybe it's not only people doing the glitch, but a problem with the game.

Your internet must have dropped, or everyone else pulled the plug. T_T
