Make a long story short, put my Madden disc in played funny, took it out and it had a perfect circular scratch around it. Called MS tech support, had to talk to a manager, assured them that the console wasn't moved, replacement console scratched my disc. Manager told me that EA would replace it (read EA's warrenty and it will not replace anything they judge to be misuse ie scratched disc after it has played fine). She was annoying, said there was nothing she could do about it and sounded like a freaking robot. I told her I bet the console is bad, she said she wouldn't replace and now it is freezing during games. I sense this is the beginning of the end for this one just like the first one.

So I am out Madden 07 and have a bad console.

NEED ADVICE.

Thanks, but I have already sent in one 360 and received a replacement. I have argued with a manager of the MS support twice and I am getting sick of spending so much time on the phone dealing with these idiots.

I need to get a replacement disc for my Madden 07 which my 360 chewed up. Any suggestions?

Sounds like your shelf isn't level.

Go buy a level and check.

Just checked and it is level for the most part. Off slightly, but it is in my basement with a concrete floor. The piece that the 360 is on is from Ikea and pretty sturdy.

I bet that's it.

Having the X360 on an unlevel area would cause perfect circular scratches.

New update, turned on 360, tried to play Lego Star Wars II demo, game froze immediately, turned off console, started it back up and received the three red flashing lights of death. Called MS and told them I want a box shipped ASAP. Guy was nice, but I am pissed that I have to send in another 360! Anyone know of someone at MS I can write to about this?

So, anyone else had this happen to them and if so, were they able to voice their concerns to anyone higher than the MS support staff?
