Hi,

Someone left a Nintendo 64 at my work. They wanted me to list it on eBay, but it has no controllers or games so I told them it wasn't worth it, so they told me to throw it out. It's in the trunk of my car.

It looks brand new. It has the AV and power cables, but as mentioned, no games or controllers.

I was thinking about getting a controller and WWF No Mercy & WWF Wrestlemania 2000 because those are the only N64 games I think I'd still be interested in.

I guess my question is, does EB/Gamestop sell controllers still, and games like No Mercy and Wrestlemania? And if so, approximately how much? I looked online and didn't see any N64 stuff on their websites.

If it's something like $20 for a controller and the 2 games, I'd do it, otherwise I'd probably throw out the N64.

Thanks for any help.

They should sell all of those things pretty cheap, yes. Call your local stores, or try pawn shops.

It depends on the store and that this point, not many are still selling old games at this point.

But WWF No Mercy occassionally comes in stock at wherehouse.com every so often for $1.99, used and complete.

My GS still has trays of this stuff out on the floor...

They pulled all the classic stuff from most of the stores and consolidated them into a few locations a while ago. I know of the 5 EBs around me, 4 of them no longer carry PS1/N64 games or accessories. The one store that does carry them had a pretty limited selection, mostly sports games.

But if you do find a store that has them, the price for a controller would be about $8 and those two games would be $5 each, give or take a few dollars.

Watch out with No Mercy. The first run of that game randomly deleted save data. I don't know if later runs fixed the issue, or how to tell the old from the oldest.

Game Crazy sells those wrestling games for like $2.

I believe the N64 1st party controllers for 9.99 and the max games go for is like 10 but those are probably 3-5.

Be careful, ever since the GS Merger PSX and N64 games have been OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced at EBGames. Games that used to be $2-$5 each are now $12-30! Crazy.
