The collectors edition of the main game skyrocketed in value, but I think there were less than 100,000 made. Who knows if they will ramp up production considering the massive popularity of it.

So they only have to print one version of the collector's ed., and you'll have whichever format you want.

I pre-ordered this Sat. at EB for the wife. I made the mistake of mentioning it to her, and that's all it took. Oh well, I did have the credit there that I had ammassed, and it will look nice to have the match to our WoW CE... ;)

I'd like to know as well as I have put off getting the CE version of Oblivion for 360 for this very reason. Overstock scares me because they will vacuum seal something as delicate as a GBA box.

If it's constructed anything like the original CE, and judging by the pictures it is, it should be pretty sturdy anyway. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I can't really imagine lightning striking twice with WoW. No one had any idea that WoW would explode like it has. Thus, relatively few people that bought the WoW CE didn't open it up and play it. Seems like if everyone winds up getting two of these (or more) that Ebay will be flooded until no one plays WoW anymore.

I actually accidently got two. After the amazon deal died, I went to EB to preorder one (for 69.99, bastards). Then the amazon deal came back so I ordered one from them with the free shipping. I guess the plan now is to play the EB one then, when the amazon one shows up (slow shipping), return it to EB for 69.99. Hope this doesn't count as a scam, I mean, it's not like EB won't be able to sell the returned, brand new copy for 69.99.

This is only the expansion. The original release of WoW just dropped to $20 however, making it easier to justify buying both the original and the expansion for first time players.
