View Full Version : Far Cry Game Problem, Help

I got a version of far cry for the 360 from play asia...Roughly around the 3rd level, the one where you are driving the car, at the end where you are supposed to go off the bridge and go into a ditch the game freezes. Once I hit the blue mark to trigger the end level events, the game goes to the main menu screen. I thought it might be the disc, but now I am running into the same problem with a version I bought from gamestop. Are the discs that buggy, or is it something else. Should I delete the game save that I have from my hard drive, and start over. I picked up where I had left off from before from the play asia disc.

Most Ubisoft games are pretty glitchy, I'd erase the save and start over. I wouldn't have beat the game if not for a gltich where the last boss in the extended story got stuck between two rocks allowing me to fury slash him over and over and over until he died.

Very strange. My version of the game didn't have that problem. I finished the entire first game and didn't have any glitches.

Have you tried using the vehicle to jump over the bridge?
I haven't had any problems with the game so far.

it is the 2nd bridge, and i had tried it on foot walking to the blue spot below, as well as using the vehicle....i erased the memory from my hard drive and started over...got by that part without any problems, I hope I don't have to start it again.

well I couldn't speak for his commnets, but in my expericence on ubi's 360 games I had the above stated problem with far cry. I also ran across a game problem with ghost recon on the 360 as well. I was on top of the rooftops, trying to destoy antitank setups. I was able to do 2/3rd of them, but the plank/pathway to the final area wouldn't open up for me. I had to restart the level. It took me about 2 hours to figure that out, read it on gamefaqs. I think I had some problem with king kong as well.

I didn't experience any problems or glitches on Far Cry for the 360.

There was a really bad glitch with Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike on Xbox where it'd freeze-up during the intro screen constantly. I still don't think they ever fixed that.
