I work in a family business making scrimshaw gift items. My father doesn't pay as well as I did working in the coporate world. To make more money I sell stuff on ebay, and do craft shows. I am going to start expanding out of the New England shows, and contemplating doing one in Timonium, MD. I mostly do cape cod and boston shows, and are desings have the local lighthouses, state bird/flower, and other historic sites. What are locations of interest in Maryland, and more so in the Timonium area?

Baltimore is home to the original Washington Monument (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Monument_(Baltimore)).

Make a crab with Divine's face instead of a crab face, they will sell like hot cakes.

are there popular lighthouses, or ships in the area. For cape cod we do the 4 different lighthouse designs, and for boston we have the skyline, the uss constitution, the boston swan boats, and make way for ducklings

Or Sheppard Pratt, if you want something close to the Timonium area. :D

There's really nothing very historic out in Timonium besides the fairgrounds, I don't think, and that's probably where you will be doing the shows. If you have a chance to make it downtown, you can always check out the Harbor and the Aquarium if you get a chance. And if you want the best crab cake you'll ever had, find a way to go to Koko's Pub. Their crab cakes are literally the size of a baseball and all lump crab meat, the greatest.
