Wow, have seen this offer on a few banners and always thought you have to be a member of Fileplanet to DL, last I checked it was 6$ish a month. With the free/basic account option I'll DL this first time I'm at a friends house with broadband.

yeah, you can use their free servers, but you hafta wait for like half an hour.

Wait time depends on when you're downloading. If you're a night owl (or real early bird) you can get in with a shorter wait (or no wait).
Might check this out.
So is signing up for this pretty much the same as it is for the other MMORPGs on Fileplanet? Just download it and when you install it you get a key that you put in? Sounds good to me, I played Planetside for over 3 months off of free "trials" :D . My friends have been bugging me to get Galaxies, too...maybe I should give it a try...
How big is the installer? I'm only on 56k here but I won't avoid downloading something just because it's big (hell, I downloaded the Planetside trial on 56k, and that was over 1.2 gigs).

I imagine SWG will be up there in file size. Most MMORPGs are.

I used to play it, and it is like 2 or 3 gigs I think. Good luck on 56K

My trial is almost up. I wish I could continue, but I don't want to pay the fee. Plus I have so many other games to play. I might come back went when the jump to lightspeed expansion comes out.

Yes you can actually do the dancing in the game, even though its star wars.

How do you get the code? Does it come when you install the trail? I already have SWG on my PC because I used to play, but i wouldnt mind another 14 days for free.
