The Classic GI story is on Dark Isle Studios and has classic reviews for Banjo Kazooie, Plantscape: Torment & Destrega.

Hopefully mine will be coming in the mail soon. It also appears that the GI staff does not like Pokemon.

Also, just noticed now after really reading it that they have two new staff members. Lisa left last issue and now they have two new guys named Bertz & Ben.

Damn, Dark Sector still exists? Last I've heard, they've drastically changed the game from last we've seen it. It no longer takes place in outer space, but is now set in Russia - which is a serious downgrade if you ask me.

Probably cause a lot of shooters are using outer space settings(Quake IV, Prey), so they wanted to change it so it might get noticed.

Good to see some Shenmue love. And Amplitude's up there. Never considered it a cult classic. Picked that baby up for $5 at Blockbuster months ago.

Hard to consider games like Psychonauts & Katamari Damacy as cult classics right now. They didn't even add:

Hell, most of the list is recent, this-generation games. But I have yet to play the game you posted.

Everybody ought to discredit the DS scores. Even if some are on target, Game Informer is notorious as being a Nintendo hater/basher. It's actually quite in the open if you research it. Pokemon Dungeon is actually kind of fun, but I doubt that they were able to get past that it has Pokemon attached to the title. It's a fun game for short bursts or in between classes, etc.

Remember: the reviewiers at GI say they review games and assign them scores based on what other people will think, rather than their own opinions.

I think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is great and would give it an 8 or maybe even a 9 out of ten. I can see how some might not like it all that much, but it sounds like GI wanted to hate the game and possibly didnt even play it at all.

As a loyal subscriber and loyal Nintendo fan I will say that GI is not biased to Nintendo games. People have accused them of being pro-sony and anti-nintendo but really they are the only magazine who consistently says what THEY feel. They are frank and honest and don't follow the typical DIgg user opinion. Hell, they're the only place where PSP games and DS games are actually being rated fairly (before price is taken into consideration) And yes the new Pokemons do suck.
