Since there isnt a I wont camp out option, I'm picking 11pm-12am because I'm only going to walk into a 24-hour store shortly before midnight.

Depends on if my store has a midnight launch. I'm not sure what the mall's rules on that are. I do have a pre-order, but I might do a mild camp out if only for the fun of it.

I am a part time mall employee, so I could technically hang out in our kiosk as long as I'd like before hand - even if mall management modfists an early opening.

The store I pre-ordered at isn't doing a midnight launch, so poop.

Gonna call my local walmart to see how their doing it. If it's a come in and get a ticket at a certain time type of thing I'll do that and come back at midnight, but if it's a first come, first served not sure what I'll do. I'm not real keen on spending all Saturday in a Walmart. Hoping I can hop in and get a ticket at noon or something and come back. Otherwise, maybe I'll check it out at 10pm and see what's up.

I'm probably doing a Circuit City. I hate giving money to Wal Mart for any reason.

I don't think any store knows if they're going to be opening at midnight yet.

Well, my local Kmart is relatively deserted any time I go there, so I think I might camp for PS3/Wii there. If they do a midnight launch, I'll be there are 2:37 when school gets out, and if they open at their regular time I'll camp at 4:00 at the crack of dawn and get one when it opens at 8:00.

I'll be camping outside Circuit City around 10 or 11 Saturday night. I'm pretty sure they'll have plenty.

My plan is to walk into wal-mart or Best Buy or Target and get one whenever I feel like it on Sunday. If I don't get one, I'll wait until the next batch. I felt really old and out of place today standing outside of EB, and I wasn't even there to pre-order!

Oops! I did it again.

Not sure yet. I'm going to a store doing a midnight launch, so likely Wal-Mart...but as far as what time, it depends on how many units the store has and which location I end up visiting. I think some locations will require a longer wait than others...so I guess anywhere from 10AM to 4PM would be a fair estimate to when I'll start the waiting process.

10PM - 11PM.

Due to unexpected events, I wasn't able to get a pre-order down. It's alright though, there are a lot of old people where I live... so I don't expect there to be a huge line for the Wii come launch day. I'm not even sure there will be a midnight launch, so I'll probably get to the store an hour or two before opening in the morning.

I think I may walk into Costco on that Sunday if they'll have them, otherwise I'll probably check out target or even wal-mart.

yea, i know costco isnt having a midnight launch. I remember when 360s came out, there was no limit on how many you could buy there, so some people bought like 4.

I think I'll go over to my local Wal-Mart around 9 PM.

I will go about an hour earlier than when the EB here opens. I don't know if they will open any earlier than usual, but I will be watching.

That's awesome, is it going to be a 5-minute YouTube type of thing, or something more?

I wish I knew people more interested in Wii. Most of my friends that are gamers are PC gamers exclusively, and they don't have that Wii fever like I have it...I'll be lucky if any of 'em even wait with me! Jerks.

Quick question, what's the story on Toys R Us launches: do they take pre-orders or is it a first-come-first-serve type of thing? Also, they usually do midnight launches or are we looking at the typical 9AM open?

My TRU took preorders, and aren't then stopped because they weren't sure on numbers.

I figure that it might be tough though... I'm in Canada, and I heard that our share of North America is far too small. (My local EB guy was telling me that Canada got 4% of the 400k ps3s)

You're best bet would prolly be a walmart, or costco. They never get camped.

Well, since I'm #1 on my GS preorder, I rule, but I still will get there early to hang with the cool guys

Yeah it is going to be 5 minute webisodes. We are going to start the project soon and we will we be releasing info and what not, but if everything goes as planned, it should be pretty sweet.

Awesome, I look forward to it. I'm sure we'll all have some fun launch stories on the 19th, so I definitely look forward to actually SEEING someone else's story via video.

It's an event, baby. I'm bringing out the whole gang for a 9 PM campout in front of the Target. There will be music playing (LOTS of loud, loud Mastodon), DS multiplayer, snacks, caffeine, and a small grill (all in addition to the tents and chairs, of course). After we snag one, we're all heading over to my friend's house (he has a massive television). It'll be a good day.

That's how it will really go. Haha.

As early as I deem necessary, and as late as possible without missing it. I guess I don't know yet and will have to what the projected turnout is.

I'll probably camp pretty early at a 24 hours walmart. I'd be fine if I would have to hang around for a while. Probably around 2 pm or so.
