View Full Version : Is it worth the trouble shipping to Canada?
So a buyer is asking me if I ship to Canada. It is worth the trouble, and how much it cost?

It is not to much trouble at all. Just have them pay the shipping cost to ship it out to Canada. If you want to know how much it is going to cost to ship it out to Canada just go on USPS.com The only other thing you have to do is fill out a customs form. It is pretty easy to fill out. It will only take about 2 or 3 min if that even to fill out. People that live outside the US are welling to pay more for stuff on that you sell plus pay the shipping cost on top of that. Or at least jack up the price on the item. What are you selling on Ebay?

Air Mail to Canada on a standard DVD case game usually runs $2-$2.50 The only con is no tracking. I charge $2 more to ship to Canada than the US(when it actually costs about the same), so for me, it's worth it.

Yea, it really is quite easy to ship to cananda. And it doesn't seem to cost any more than shipping in the U.S.A.
I am selling a PC gmae. Well my only concern is that it cost a lot more to get some kind of tracking in case there is a problem.

The bolded part, to me, means that it's never worth it.
No tracking means you are pretty much screwed if the buyer disputes through Paypal... I will NEVER take that risk, espically since I've had a few people say "I never got my item" and Delivery Confirmation has saved my ass every time.
