...from my brother. I wouldn't be so dense as to go out and buy one with the PS3 right around the corner. However, since I won't be getting a PS3 for a long while, I figured I might as well enjoy the best of what the last-gen has to offer.
That being said, I did have a PS2 earlier in its lifespan (around launch), but traded it off several years ago. I need some suggestions for some games to pick up. I plan on getting FFXII, Okami, and Resident Evil 4 (never played it on the Cube). What other games do you guys suggest?

...I bought a PS2 last month...so dense as to buy one? I think you mean "I wouldn't be so dense as to buy a PS3 with a 600 dollar price tag, instead I'll pay 100 and play all the good ps2 games for super cheap and by the time I finish them I can buy a PS3 for 300 dollars" ;)

If you haven't played Metal Gear Solid 3 (and if you haven't, go with Subsistence), then you should play it. NOW. It's my favorite game of all time.

God of War.
I have only played two games so far on the PS2 (I have only had one for a couple of months) and I LOVED God of War. If you don't like it I'll buy it off of you.
PS2 is a good platform if you like RPG games, since it has literally tons of them from Japan.
