at the eb in the brea mall, they said i could trade in any 2 titles. sounds like there are a few anal eb employees out there though so i'd say call first :)

btw, i traded in a fishing game and an old ps2 sports title for my tales of symphonia pre-order, hehe.

Guys! my EB tells me is 2 games $20 nothing more (sorry merlin48) but they have exclusions such as old sports games and most games with a sequel. Some 2004 sports games should work! So you may want to call your local EB or bring several games with you in case they dont accept some. Also make sure they are doing it for the game you want...

There are exclusions. Read the bottom of the catalog. The employees in your area made stupid decisions. it is extremely YMMV.

Here is what the guy work at EB told me. When you look at use game there is a PO and POX price tag. POX mean exclusive and you cannot trade in.

Endgame, Rogue Ops, Tribes, Gungrave, and Frequency most likely wont work. Sims should, Need for Speed and Midnight should.

the only 04 sports that work are Live and Tiger Woods but they both give more at least that what they were on mon when i worked last.

dont forget about exclusions on PS2 games. Besides that, I plan on using the 10 instant rebate thats in the catalog towards ToS because it is on the page. Note though that you have to have the coupon in order to get offer.

soriano the exclusion has lessened since I posted about your games. There are still titles that are non-sports on it. I found that if you bought a game for 9.99 or less it won't work (ie rogue ops). All 04 sports work except Madden 04 for PS2 (it works for other versions). This is from what I notice just checking a few things.

Well how do they know if it was for $9.99 or less? Wow, sucks about Madden 2004, since that's the only 2004 sports game I'm willing to trade in. I'm guessing NBA Street doesn't count as a trade in item either?

Hopefully, someone who works at EB can help, because I'm at my wits end trying to figure out one of these deals. MTV Music Gnerator 3 was supposed to come with 2 free movie tickets. There's nothing inside, and I've asked multiple times at the stores. They've even called their district managers. They swear up and down that there is supposed to be a form in the game, and I can't find anything in the manual or game case.

Did anyone get this game and the free tickets?

No everquest for sure, I tried to trade in EQ when they had a trade ANY game in even old sports titles and the manager told me nope on EQ, so I highly doubt it.

I TRIED THE $10 OFF COUPON TODAY AND IT WORKED! (sorry about the caps, but i was so happy they let me use it!) after trading in some craptacular cd's, i was able to get TOS for $3 plus the 2 $5 game trade ins!
