So on Sept. 30 I place in a trade order. I sent over $155 worth of stuff to them. And I sent it out last week, well I got an email a bit ago from them saying that that I only got $133 worth of credit.

Well they said a couple of cds were scratched, well okay 3 $2 CDs doesn't bother me. However I looked at the list of items that they accept..."Teen Titans PS2 (5.00)"

HUH?????

My trade quote stated that they will give me $18.40 for it instead of $5.00! And this is what it says in their Help page.

"How long do I have to send Wherehouse.com my trade-ins?
The Sell quote we give you when you complete your Sell transaction will not change provided you send in your trade-in items within 30 days. Keep in mind, Sell values do change, however we allow you to "lock-in" your Sell quote so that you'll know exactly how much credit you'll receive."

Let's see I got the trade quote September 30...today is October 16th. My deductive logic concludes that this is well within those 30 days so that $18.40 should stand.

I'm right in thinking that I have a reason to complain, right?

Definately. If you still have the original quote, all the better. I am sure they will adjust it for you.

Yeah, you've got reason to complain about alright... if not, keep your cool and try to keep all your transactions in emails so that you have proof of what they said and what you said. It might be useful if they try to screw you over some more.

I'm sure they'll adjust it if you e-mail them. I've always got the price they've quoted even if their trade-in price dropped by the time it arrived. So I've never had your specific problem but their customer service has always been great with any problems I have had (broken or wrong games).

Are there different UPC's for that Teen Titans game. I once traded in a game to them that they ended up giving a different(lower) value for. The reason being that the UPC of the game I sent in did not match the UPC listed for that game.

Another example of this is Darkwatch(ps2). They offer $20+ for it but the UPC's don't match what UPC my copy has, so I didn't send it in.

There are two different listings for Teen Titans on ps2 and GC.

Yep, they will give you whatever one matched your UPC. They will not give you the $18.
