Bought Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Limited Edition(xbox) over the weekend so I can get prepped for Double Agent.

I get home and look for guides on it and while looking, see the box art.

This is what the box art I saw looks like:

Now the one I bought doesn't have the Xbox logo, the Splinter Cell, Ubisoft or Tom Clancy logo on the casing. It just has the three lights on the front and Fisher in the shadows on the back of the case.

My question is, was there some kind of plastic slip cover that was supposed to go over the casing that had those things on it? I'm just wondering if Gamestop screwed me out of the slip cover(if there was one).

SOB, I wonder if I can return it. If I would've known that, I would've passed on it.

I would. If the game you bought they said is new and it's missing something it's not really new. That's why I don't buy new from Eb/GS anymore.

I've also heard that the special 'making of' disc was never packed in during production, and that owners had to send away for it.

therefore, doesn't that make this CE/LE just the special case and slip cover? way to go Ubisoft.......

Mine came with the DVD. Tried to take it back yesterday and the employee said it wasn't complete(the slip case), so they couldn't take it back :-?. Tried explaining that it didn't have one, the guy acted like he didn't care and just wanted me out of the store. So either I'll try one day when the employee that sold it to me is working or try another store. It's starting to make me regret buying it.

Already took it back, just went to the EB down the road and had no problem getting the $20 back. Went to Blockbuster near it and picked up the regular version for $10 used complete. I checked the DVD before taking it back, it wasn't worth the $10 difference for it and the metal casing.
