View Full Version : Why October is going to suck for my wallet

Well, here we are in the throws of one of the best times of the year to be a gamer - the preamble to the Christmas season. There's a crap ton of good stuff coming out in the next few weeks that are going to get me divorced. My list of goods I'm hoping to get:
- Gun Showdown (already gotten, but added it anyway)
- Ace Combat X
- Medal of Honor Heros (didn't notice this game until lately, WOW it looks sweet)
- Capcom Classics Collection Remixed (SFII, G&G, MERCS ... all good stuff, but load times are a concern)
- GTA:VCS
- Killzone Liberation
Man, I'll have to see where funding is at or if I can trade off some stuff; that's quite a bit of goodness before November.

As long as none of these games require FW higher than 2.71... DevHook FTW!!! Actually, the only game that even appeals to me on the list is Killzone but I'm going to wait for a price drop. The demo was pretty good but it was more like $20 good, not $40 good.
Metal Gear needs to come out so I don't sell my PSP for a 2nd time.

Comes out in early December. That's the reason I'm getting a PSP around that time.

Yeah, MGS is going to kick some ass too. On top of that, HOPEFULLY November we'll see the PS1 emulator come out so there's good news for the PSP all the way till Christmas.

And hopefully CV:SOTN is one of the launch titles for the service.
PSP REALLY needs a side scrolling Castlevania.

Now since the PSP seems to be getting its share of good games, I'm going to have to buy one again! Although it's too bad Square isn't doing the side story for Final Fantasy 12 for the PSP. What's up with all the love for the DS, Square?!

Eh, well they are still working on that Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core thing. Which will hopefully be good thanks to the fact that it's actually an RPG (since that's Square's obvious strength.)
