Well now I know that I definitley will not be getting 2142. I loved BF2 but I started to get hard feelings for EA when Special Forces came out and it ran so bad on my computer. Booster Packs, poor support for customers with problems, and now including spyware in their games is another reason why I won't be supporting EA and the Battlefield franchise. Here's the link for all to read.

At least we've still got the FEAR expansion, Dark Messiah, Neverwinter Nights 2, and some other really good stuff hitting the PC this month... hopefully none of those will be fucked up like this (and I don't think they will since none of those had EA involved.)

this might be a bad sign for us CNC3 fans.........as we may see fucked up ads on the building that get blown up. The only games that needs ads in them are sports games to make them feel more "authentic" , but outside of that, fuck it. leave us the fuck alone EA.

Yeah, I'm really hoping that CNC3 doesn't get fucked up since that game really has a lot of potential... and the ad potential probably isn't as good since you don't have a direct view of anything... unless they put banner adds in the UI...
Seriously, I'd pay $10 or $15 more for an unfucked up version if they do something like that to CNC3.
And that pic in the post above... yeah, that doesn't fit. I'm sorry, but no matter how badly EA wants it to, Pepsi ads can NOT work on the billboards of the future.

Pep...si? What is this wonderful new product? I've never heard of it before. Thank goodness someone chose to suck up part of my bandwidth, lag my game and completely ruin any immersion I had into the battle. Now I know all about this wonderful new product. A soft drink! Amazing! Now if only I could learn a little bit more about this milk I've been hearing about...
