It looks like Sony released a new version of PSP Media Manager today and even lowered the online price to $16.99.

Has anyone used this application before and care to comment on the video quality ease of use etc?

I know, I know, Sony should have packaged this along with the PSP rather than charging extra for it. We all know this, this isn't what this thread is about. :)

WTF? They want more money for this? While I could bitch and moan about how this should have been given to PSP owners from day one, it's even worse that they don't give it to PSP Media Manager 1.0 users for free.

there's about 2 or 3 better things out there than this... one being PSP Video 9

While PSP video 9 is better, its not easier to use. This really should have been included with the PSP.
