I was about to pop in a new game I got, and was going to format the card I bought a while back(in a two pack, offical brand). But it doesn't even come up in the screen. I have never used it. It's a bummer too because I have no free space on any of my memory cards to play the game. Anyone know what is wrong?

Isn't really clear, have you used the memory card before? Also, are you trying to format the card through the game or the browser? Try the browser and see if it has a memory card on screen. If not, I'd say there's something wrong with the card.

Yeah it is brand new(bought a two back, finished other card up so I decided to use the other one). The card does not even show up in the browser at all. I tried it on my friend's PS2 as well.

It should've ask to format it when you first popped them in, so it sounds like it's defective. If you have the receipt, take them back to swap them or if they don't have anymore, get your money back.

No I don't have the receipt. I bought the 2 pack maybe back in may. I really should have checked if it was fine when I purchased it. Oh well. :bomb:

Yeah, you're pretty much screwed. No receipt means can't take it back and the 90 day warranty is already up. But at least this taught you to check the memory cards when first buying them.
