Looks like we're getting more 1080p games than we thought. So awesome for us and a big F U to the naysayers that said it wouldn't happen a while ago.

Virtua Tennis and Ridge Racer aren't really surprises to me, but then NBA 2K7 and Lair are. Still not sure it will make that much of a difference with some titles.

Insomniac ultimately decided against going with 1080p and has kept the game at a maximum resolution of 720

The question is: who at CHEAP ass gamer even has a 1080p television to take advantage of it?
And I've read that you won't be able to tell the difference between 1080 interlaced and progressive unless you have a huge screen. If you have a 30" tube like me, you probably won't be able to tell the difference.

This is so true. I'm a huge cheapass but I'm definitely not poor. People who have a lot of money are typically the people who are the smartest with their money. Why should anyone, rich or poor, pay more than they have to for anything?

That is good that more games are 1080p...it makes Sony a little bit less of a liar at least as far as 1080p goes. Unless your a video phile does anyone really care?

If you have one, then great. I mean, I wish I had one, but I won't for another 2-3 years. For many people, it's way too expensive because it's so new.

I do.. I own a Samsung LCD 1080P that was just released 2 months ago. I paid $3000 for it, but it was worth every penny.
