I dont know about the other trolls on here, but this is a sexy as FUCK launch list for any console. Forget that some are out on 360 just as a launch think about how sexy it is.

That's a pretty good list of games.
There are 5 games on the list I definately want...too bad I won't be able to afford them all :-P
Actually, some of those are in the launch window.

Wow, I dont see a single title that makes me NEED a PS3 now. Anything that looks good I can get elsewhere.
Another reason to Ebay your PS3 people.

I see no reason to jump on a PS3 at launch....nothing much different than what is currently out.

Other than Resistance: Fall of Man, I don't see any "must haves."
Anyone hear anything about the framerate on this game? I talked to my Gamestop manager and she said the game was kickass and fun but was pretty choppy.

Not too bad, I'd say on par, if not slightly better than the 360 launch. There's no clear cut reason to buy a PS3 in that list, but at least there's a couple titles to ease the hurt pockets of those who manage to find one.

great third party games....wouldn't drop $50 on any of those 1st party games.
Probably get Genji when it's super cheap...if there's nothing else to buy...

It's a good-great list if you've been waiting for the PS3. Elder Scrolls IV is a huge third party game as is COD 3 and maybe, maybe F.E.A.R.. Resistance looks like it could be great, Genji 2 is dead in the water, the sports games (besides Fight Night) are gimped so w/e for those. It's a good looking line-up with a lot of variety to it. If you're a PC Gamer or own a 360, you can probably pass on this launch without too much trouble considering about three games aren't already on the 360.

Fight Night moved up from December 1st, which was nice.
However, I thought for like the past year that Motorstorm was a launch game? It seems like they've been showing a near final build forever now, why the six month delay!?

I would MUCH rather play Tony Hawk's Project 8 with a DualShock, but it ain't worth 600 smackers.

It was delayed shortly after E3. To remedy the delay, there will be a demo up on the PS Store on launch.

20 games I don't want and one game I would and it's on the 360.
Half of those are sports/racing games, so no wonder I'm not interested.

Yes, but there's one stand out for me in that front, Full Auto 2. MotorStorm looks great, but honestly the only "straight" racing game I get any play out of is Mario Kart. At least with Full Auto I get the death match and other insanity.
Resistance is more FPS goodness though. Untold Legends looks like a great action/RPG style game, so that's 3 for me at launch.
I can't wait to play some of them online. :-D
