View Full Version : GQD Strikes again with Gotcha Force?

Due to the B2G1 i went to a couple Gamestops today and every single one had a copy of Gotcha Force for the Gamecube. This used to be a rare one, SO if you buy it thinking it is rare still, you have been warned. Not sure if this is posted anywhere else.
Edit: Though looking at GQD site they don't have any. Could Capcom have reprinted it? It had to be reprinted because looking at the Gamestop locator they are everywhere.

Hmmm - store locator shows an abnormal amount of them in my area.

GS is a retail store. They don't have the stuff to reprint anything.
I've never had a hard time finding Gotcha Force.. I guess it just didn't sell well around here.
well some companies has been known to do reprints on their own.

I don't mind reprints, it gives me the chance to buy games that I would have had a tough time looking for locally. I kind of wish that the prices weren't so high though on these reprints. I would definitely like to see more reprints of games that had lowprint runs and turned out great on the reviews like Gotcha Force, though I have't played it.

i've never heard of this game until now. the cover looks kinda flashy... i'll have to look into it..

Capcom has been known to reprint their own games before... like Super Puzzle Figher 2 Turbo for PS One.

I'm glad actually that they'd do a reprint of Gotcha Force if it's true; I loved that game. It was fun to get tournaments going with friends where we'd all kick each others asses with little robo-ninjas.

people say "GQD reprinted X" and it means they got the game reprinted through the company. I mean the same thing.
they seem to track ebay prices now, maybe they decided to cut out GQD and finance some of their own reprints.

I thought it was odd that I kept seeing used "mint" copies of this showing up at every sigle EB/GS I went to this past week (around 5 different stores). Before this week I saw a grand total of one copy used during the past 9 months at every EB/GS I went to.
