which is the best megaman game to play on gba/ds? i was thinking about how great megaman x is and i wanted to play megaman again but maybe on my gba this time... and i already know how crappy those megaman rpgs are, just from reading the review and knowing how they release them so often...
So wat would you guys recommend? maybe the megaman zero series? which is the best megman zero game?

You might enjoy the Battle Network games, but the series is a simple case of 'You've played one, you've played 'em all". I hear Mega Man & Bass is a great tradional-style Mega Man game.

I like ZX so far.

Mega Man & Bass is a great game and is really the only traditional MM game on the GBA. Battle Chip Challenge is worthless. The Battle Networks are cool but get very repetitive after a while. That just leaves the Zero games, and MMZ4 is about as close to a traditional one as you can get, but each of them has the difficulty ramped up a bit compared to the older 8 and 16 bit games.

Like everybody else, I suggest Megaman & Bass. Excellent game on the GBA if you're looking for a more traditional Megaman game.

ZX on the DS is as close tot the 8 and 16 bit feel as I've played. Not that the other ones are bad by any means, but it just caputres that fun element that seems missing in a lot of games for me.
That being said, if you go the ZX route, go to GameFAQs and get a map. The map system is horribly broken and doesn't help you in the least, and it's said up in a Metroid / Castlevania style so you need to be able to know where to go to even GET to the levels to beat.

thanks for all the recommendations..... in terms of megaman zero Mafia said that zero4 is the most traditional one but which one is the easiest one since he also said the difficulty is bumped up each time... and how different is the zero series from the original 8/16 bit version
i ask this because i saw the original MM zero at my local GameRush for $14.99 and i think amazon had zero3 and zero4 on their site... i also saw zero4 at my local kmart so hopefully a good megman on gba isnt too hard to find and isnt too expensive.....
