Some guy's trying to scam me, I'm 99% sure he swapped out the guts of the machine I sold him but I didn't write down the original serial number. Is there a system serial number anywhere on the inside of the ps2 case or am I outta luck? Thanks for any help.

I don't think so, altho I could be wrong. Had that happen once to me...now, I just put a small sticker and mark on the inside of the machine somewhere, like where the HD would go in the fatty PS2. Learned the hard way, but it won't happen again now. Of course, had I recorded the serial in the first place, I wouldn't have had problems, but live and learn.
