When EGM (I think) went under, they told me they'd change my sub to Maxim. Of course, I had already built up like 5 years of free Maxim subs. So now I have it until 2017. I will be considered a dirty old man by then. Um. If not already.

I assume using the same information is what triggers the stack, but, I don't really pay attention to what the site is when I'm signing up for free Maxim. Still, I would bet using the same info. on different sites would still give you the same result.

All I know is that my sub goes well into 2015 (or further?).

I always use my real name and addy, but always make a fake phone number. (If you think your mailman could get the magazine to you under a different name, have at it.)

They can't force you to renew. When that time comes, you simply get those mail-in cards wanting you to renew. Like any other subscription, you can simply let it lapse.

I got 2 or 3 different ones in the past. If you guys sign up to receive freebizmags emails, they will email the offers to you. Same goes for mercury mags.

I used to post a lot of links in this thread, but I have stopped with most of the free mags.

My advice to you guys: Only get the mags you want, they pile up quickly!

lol, thanks for reminding me about that playboy sub. I actually got my first issue today but accidentally threw it away. I thought it was some catalog or something since it came in a black plastic bag and the only thing it showed was some ad for some whiskey.

The articles aren't half bad actually. Although, some of them, like the ones about best car, clothes, etc. are borderline ads.

I have never seen a card collecting mag come up in the past 5 years.

i dont think there is a "magic answer" for that as almost anything works for getting Maxim. You just need to fill it out.

I'm in for another year of the bunny magazine just in time for Easter :).

It worked last year. I've gotten 6 issues from my last free year. I wish they'd offer EGM, other tech magazines, or sports mags like ESPN or SI. I'd love to get more free subs for mags that I can take to the gym.

EDIT: I noticed in COLDblood's post SI comes up from time to time. I will have to keep an eye out for it. I really miss the free EGM offers. I like that mag just not enough to buy it. Especially with it's re-release it seems more expensive and I never see any discounts on it.

I am not sure if the sub will work anyway. I got the PB image and after I filled everything out, I got another offer for Maxim. I clicked on that offer and it said offer not available (or ended) and offered Forbes. The maxim offer may have been what you guys were seeing as rewards gold always offers other products after you complete the form.

I just got next months issue... started opening it and remembered your request. I made sure to keep the photo SFW this time for you all!

As you can see (beside the rip) the front and sides are 100% blacked out. Their mailing address is undercover too.

You would think, but since they can still brag that they have XX amount of subscribers they can tell advertisers that their ads will reach said amount, so advertisers agree and it's all good. It makes you wonder why all magazines aren't given away for free, but I think that's the theory anyway.

I believe they are looking more for ad revenue than subscriber revenue. The bigger a subscriber base, the better they can sell ad space and keep big advertisers who are able to spend millions to plug their products in the magazine.

I agree sometimes it takes a couple months but they have always showed up.

Then again I don't know if you have a business mailing address you can use... they say they check to see if you qualify but who knows what they check for.

Somehow they get a listing of new magazine subscribers and try to sell you bogus subs.

Take the phone number and type it into a search engine.

Also ask them what magazines they are calling for, usually they will say a list of magazines that aren't even from the same publisher.
