What I'd like to know is how many of you "flippers" now have to find another means to sell your PS3?

Also, how many of you eBayer's who meet the 50+ feedback & 98% approval rating requirement would be willing to sell someone else's PS3 in exchange for a cut of the profit?

Thats just for preorders though, its not yet clear whether they will enforce it once the system launches, right?

this isn't anything new. they did it on pre-orders last year. once ps3 launches, its no holds barred.

Looks like it applies to pre-sales only: http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200610241757352.html

I don't like the fact that you can't set "But-it-now" as an option. But it's their call.

I would qualify to presell my PS3 this way, but the thing that pisses me off is that is supposed to "protect the buyer". Well, my problem is that there is relatively little protection for the seller.

eBay / Paypal are just too much in the camp of the buyer....even if you follow their stupid seller protection procedures.

I'll probably sell mine on eBay when it gets released, but not before. The BIN option being removed makes it a hard sell for me.

No BIN sucks because you can't require immediate payment for the system and protect yourself from deadbeat bidders. Good luck to those trying to make some easy money as lots of idiots will be playing with your auctions.

Yeah, the no BIN is a deal killer for me.

Also, I can understand this kind of thing for the PS3, but it's kind of silly for the Wii.
