The packaging looks nice but wouldn't be easier for customers if they changed the packaging a little more from the $500 model and $600 model.

yea, i can only find 2 minor differences between the two package, one being the totally obvious 20GB vs. 60 GB.

I think it looks more like the packaging for an electronics device than a videogame console, but that's not a bad thing considering their target audience. WAY better than the ugly blue PS2 box.

EDIT: In all fairness, the "20GB" and "60GB" are labeled pretty clearly, IMO. It's no 360 green/white box, but anyone who knows about there being 2 models will surely see the difference.
That box could be wrapped in hot pictures of (insert hot celebrity here) and it still wouldn't be worth that much though.
As for the box confusion, people will be able to tell the difference when they ring it up ;)

Hmm, it's an odd box choice considering practically every console gets released in a near solid color box. It's different, and lord knows I fear change.

I like it. One should have a full black background and one should have a full white blackground though.
Am I the only one that wants a giant heavy box? If I spend that much money, I dont want a little tiny box that feels like nothing. I want a big trophy!

Yep. And at the base of the system (as positioned horizontally).
It looks like the left half of the system has the chromed backing too (I think there are memory card slots under that lid).

I wonder what the weight of the boxed system is. I remember when they handed me my 360 on launch day I was shocked how heavy the damn thing was.
