List yanked from gamesarefun:
Original games:
flOw, Lemmings, Blast Factor, and a puzzle game called Kazuo
PS1 Games:
Arc the Lad

Resident Evil Director's Cut
Silent Bomber
Mr. Driller
Tekken 2

These will all available by the end of November. These games (PS1) will be playable on the PSP, after being transferred from the PS3. They won't be playable on the PS3 right out of the gate, though; that functionality will come sometime down the road. Remember that these are all for Japan; the list of US downloads has not yet been announced.
Very odd that they won't be playable for the PS3 out of the box.

It isn't odd that they won't run on the PS3 to me. It might help boost sells of PSP's and what not. You don't need a PS3 to download the games for the PSP (you can do it via the system itself) but I think this'll be a way for Sony to show off the function between the two systems and give people another option on how to play them.

Yeah, this is actually an incredibly cool selling point for the PSP. I still think it's a little odd that the PS3 won't play them too, but this, to me, would seem to be a huge selling point for the PSP itself. Especially when you consider it's biggest flaw has been its load times and lack of games.

It'll be in one of the first firmware updates for the system, why would they sell an update?

Just that nothing in the PlayStation Store will be more than $14.99. The demo at Gamers' Day had the gamers pics and stuff like that for free with demos at $.01, though they mentioned that none of the prices were final.

Tee-hee. 1 cent demos. I bet the anti-Sony crowd was blown up with mock outrage. A fucking penny.
Well, this is actually *very* pleasant news. In a time where other downloadable content providers (XBLA, VC) that have given us pricing options are taking a "bottom-up" approach by giving suggested *minimum* prices for titles (VC moreso than XBLA), Sony appears to be taking the "top-bottom" approach, giving us the *maximum* cost for a title.
Don't hold me to that, and don't hold Sony to it, either. I wouldn't be surprised to see a major-league title break $15 (a Final Fantasy title, or another rare RPG type game), but this is very good news at any rate. Just don't think I'm gonna drop $15 on any of the above mentioned titles.
