Assuming my Toys R Us even has half of these in stock, what combo of three do you recommend I pick up?
Contact
Clubhouse Games
Dragon Quest Monsters: Rocket Slime
Mario Hoops 3-on-3
Metroid Prime Hunters
Super Princess Peach
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
Magical Starsign

I say contact, magical starsign and dragon quest: rocket slime :) (hopefully this is in canada as well)

My TRU didn't have Rocket Slime nor Contact, which PISSES ME OFF. I'm going to make a last ditch effort on Saturday.
Otherwise I'd pick those up + Clubhouse games.
I can't recommend Clubhouse Games enough. I really can't believe that I considered NOT getting it at one point :D.
I'm also playing Contact right now and really enjoy it. Make sure you check out the threads here on CAG for both games.
Since those are both $30 games, you might want to add another $30 game in - perhaps Mario Hoops. Dragon Quest is another excellent game, but retails for $34.99. Still, I think that is an excellent trio if you don't mind spending the extra $5: DQ, Contact, Clubhouse Games. I would also recommend Princess Peach and Metroid. I have Mario Hoops but haven't played it yet, and I should be getting Magical Starsign tomorrow, but the reviews on that have been mediocre and I might return it (have it preordered).

TRU doesn't carry contact... yet. i've heard they're getting it in november, but that doesn't help us for this sale. of the ones you listed, i have to agree with the previous posts... clubhouse games, rocket slime should be definites. the third games is a toss up. super princess peach is really good, but like NSMB, it's kinda on the short and easy. certainly not bad for free though. i've just started getting into magical starsign. so far, it's alright, but i can't give it a glowing recommendation yet.

I would go for Clubhouse, Dragon Quest Monsters & Metroid Prime Hunters.
Get Dragon Quest Monsters: Rocket Slime. It is a really fun game.

Here's another vote for you to include Dragon Quest in your purchase. Great game.

Like everyone else said, Contact, DQ, Magical Starsign. I'd wait on Clubhouse just because it's the only $30 game you have listed. I'd snag Super Princess Peach then Metroid Prime Hunters. The other games will either drop in price quickly (Tony Hawk) or have no replay value unless you know someone else with the game (Mario Hoops).

Contact and Magical Starsign are $30 games also (just not at EB ;)). If you want to stick to $35 ones then DQ, Metroid, and Princess Peach (although that is $20 at Gamerush if you can find one).
I would do that, and then make another set with Contact, Clubhouse Games, and Mario Hoops or Magical Starsign - though it sounds like they don't have Contact, so that's too bad. I just finished another 4 hours of play on Contact - I like it more each time I play.

Contact was MSRP $35 at Circuit City, and was supposed to be that price at TRU. Hearing about a drop though... thank goodness. Have you guys confirmed Contact in stores yet?
If Contact is $29.99 then by all means get it, Clubhouse Games, and Magical Starsign. All are well worth it.

Mario Hoops 3 on 3 is my favorite Nintendo DS game (just ahead of Hawk Sk8land). You will swear you are playing a Gamecube game on the DS. That is how good the graphics and the sound are.
If you can get over how your teammates wont help you out at all (which just makes the game more challenging in my opinion), you will have a blast. I have never played any video game online, but it is a shame that this one did not end up making it online, because it would have been awesome.

Both Contact (if you can find it which virtually no one has) and Magical Starsign are $35 at TRU compared to $30 at Best Buy. Add in the GGC and getting these in the B2G1 deal suddenly isn't so great.

you can pricematch the TRU b2g1f at best buy and circuit city. they even let me use the GGC at best buy on top of the b2g1f.

That's super YMMV. Company policy for Best Buy and Circuit City is that they aren't supposed to price match special offers, just prices.

i'm 5 for 5 pricematching TRU's B2G1F sales.

this would be the best comination EVAR if you could find it at TRU
Contact
Trauma Center
Phoenix Wright
End of Thread.
But from your combination, Contact, clubhouse games, and super princess peach.

I would personally love a combination of:
Dragon Quest
Trauma Center
Contact
but if there is no contact, I really don't know what else I would want to get...

Interesting - so TRU is following EB/GS's lead in jacking up DS games by $5? Sucks...

That's nothing. FF3 is listed on the TRU site at $39.99.

Well you have fantastic luck then. Very few people can get Best Buy to honor the TRU sale.

I already have Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright, but you're correct. That would be the supreme combination.
Did Children of Mana come out this week? Should I consider that one?
