Subscriptions...please help.

I've searched through the FAQ and couldn't find anything pertaining to this. I am guessing that subscribing to a thread is basically the same thing as "tagging," for quick access to a certain thread.

Herein lies the problem. If I click on "User CP" at the top, it shows my "Subscribed Threads." The only problem is that it seems to subscribe to every thread that I am reading. It is a pain to have to delete all of them every few days, plus the threads that I want to subscribe get lost in the mix.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is that "normal?"

It subscribes you to every thread you post in so that it can let you know of new posts when you go to the User CP.

If you don't want it to do that, go to your options part of the User CP and change the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" option under the "Messaging & Notification" section to "Do Not Subscribe" and it should not subscribe you to every thread you post in. Then you can just subscribe to the threads you want by clicking on the "Thread Tools" menu just above the OP to subscribe manually.
