They gave Mortal Kombat a 3?!?! Even if the reviewer hates everything about Mortal Kombat, giving it a 3 is a joke.

Smackdown at a 7 is a bit low for the series, what'd they give Smackdown vs. Raw 2006?
And MK:A at 3 has to be a joke.

With regards to MK getting a 3, keep in mind how bad most recient ports have been. SF2 on XBL being a good example.
GH2 and Power Stone Collection are definetly on my list now.

I don't understand what you are getting at with the SF2 comparison. That review is for the new game: Mortal Kombat Armaggedon. The one that has a 77% review score at Metacritic with a lot of the big name review sites/mags giving it an 8 or a 9. It's retarded that PSM would give it a 3. That's basically telling everyone that it's a shit game, which it's not.

Not a suprise to me, I was actually expecting it after I saw the all star list of singers that have their music in it such as missy elliot :puke: and more
Death Jr 2 was a bit of a suprise though after I read the GI review (which gave it an 8.25 I believe)

I see why they gave MK:A a 3, cause a lot of people(including me) are tired of the series. Also, I bet one of the reviewers in the EGM review of it will be the one that reviewed it in OPM.

Yet you didnt even bother reading the review to see why they didnt like it that much and instead are just saying that lost all credibility due to a score :rofl:

Actually, it's the EGM scoring system that's been applied to all of 1up and its publications.

Don't worry, OPM is full of shit. Abyss is a great game for RPG fans. It's a little slow in the beginning, so they probably played it for like 2 hours and were like, "fuck this shit." It gets exponentially better, and it's one of the best RPGs released this year. I love RPGs, but I'm not afraid to speak my mind about games that I don't like (ex FF12) even if I've been a huge fan of the series previously. Abyss is a good game, and that's all.

Damn, thanks for the scores bro. Sucks the OPM is going gone and this is the last issue. I really liked reading the editorials and what not. Maybe they will bring it back some day.
