I'm in Fort Worth. I'm probably going to camp out at a local Wal-Mart instead.

Obi,
You might want to double check the store location...
The store doing the midnight launch is probably the store in Plano. The Plano location has a higher traffic and sales numbers, which is the critical part of choosing which stores are midnight stores or not. It may be, it may not, but make sure you double check, because all the lists that've leaked out saying which stores are and aren't people seem to forget that the store in Plano is ALSO on Central. They specifically mention "Park Lane" as one of the Texas stores, and the Plano store is technically on Park Lane and Central.

That is confusing............
I checked the Best Buy Location map and the area where the Best Buy in 75 and Walnut Hill is located is also known as Park Lane.......
I will double check............
I JUST DID
On that communicate that was posted on different treads they are reffering to a Park Lane Store#58 for Texas
this is what it shows on the Best Buy Website

I've heard of what you said that that is another store in Plano or Denton having a Midnight Launch...... I'm not sure the original list only mention store #58 for DFW

Huh, well, okay. I stand corrected... I'd still call the Plano store. They midnight launched the Xbox 360, the PSP, the DS, Star Wars, Doom 3, and Warcraft III all at this one store, and lines around the store. I can't imagine why they wouldn't here. If you've ever been to the Plano store during Xmas shopping, you'd know why they'd pick that store.

So I called them just now and the there's 50 people already in line, right now.
So much for the 'no camping until 12:01am Thurs. supposed rule.
There's no way I can get in line right now, and besides, with that many people, they're gone now.

I went to a walmart nearby and there were already 10 people in line since yesterday morning and they're only getting 10. So I called this best buy and the lady tells me there's already over 100 people! Sigh, guess i'm just going to camp online.
