There's a screenshot of Baraka that's supposedly from MK6 on mortalkombatonline.com. Looks pretty nice. Can't wait for this one since it'll have the online play.
2004 may be the year of the online fighting game with DOA Ultimate, Guilty Gear XX, Rocky Online, SNK vs. Capcom, MK6, and....probably one or two others I'm forgetting.
I'm still not totally convinced that an online fighting game would be a pleasant experience - any sort of lag would throw things off huge.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens...if someone can figure out a way to get the game to be lag-free (and NO dropping out in the middle of matches), it's going to be awesome. If not...well, there's always single player.

I don't think that's authentic it looks too goofy to be real. Look at the drool (at least I think that's drool) thats coming out his mouth. That looks ridiculous :lol:

Midway has confirmed it is real. What part of the game it would be in (cinematic or in-game) remains to be seen.

Isn't EA/Marvel coming up with a fighting game as well? Online or not, Madden vs. the Hulk would be an interesting matchup (?!)

I heard something like that. I'd still rather have a Capcom/Marvel game that really takes advantage of the next-gen hardware though.
