I thought this wasn't released at all, but the guy has a shot of the game disc and box. I would check it out if I could play imports.
It wasn't ever released anywhere, but everything was eventually leaked out, so it's essentially a complete game you'd get, but still a bootleg. Not something to pay more than $5 when you can download it for free if you look around.

ya I have 2 different copies of it actually, its kinda crappy actually. Its a lot like that wutang fighting game that came out, but not even that good

Also, another key that it's a bootleg:
Listing says "IMPORT" but it has an ESRB rating on the disc. If it comes from outside North America, it would have whatever the regions rating system is on it (ELSA, etc)

That's a hell of a convincing looking bootleg.

He never mentions that you'll receive the inserts or the booklet with it. He just says you'll receive One Playable Thrill Kill game. Considering he's got 18 available and makes this big deal out of being able to play "imports", I will assume that it's just bootlegs he's trying to sell.
Yeah, the fans did a good job. They produced pretty good looking case inserts and disc labels for it.

Yeah it does look real, too bad the game never officially came out

thats not a convincing bootleg AT ALL
the cover does not say playstation. and lacks the esrb info found on the back of the case and the disc.
the disc is CLEARLY a cdr because the center hole is transparent and not black like a ps game
they list format as ntsc but say its an import?
there is no fine print copyright text on the disc itself.

Japan uses NTSC. Of course, this wouldn't jibe with the all-English text on the box I suppose.
It's still convincing to the casual observer. I guess it's not so convincing to the *ahem* anal observer.

Yeah, but lately you've come off as being rather uptight. Whether it's intentional or not, I can't say.
But to continue the whole ass-theme, I acted like an ass and reported the above auction to eBay. Or would that be kick ass? Ass-tastic? Just plain ass?

Dang I really want this game too. I played it once long ago, and found it very fun. If they released this on the Box or something, with updated graphics, that would rule. Seriously, Manhunt is a lot more violent, but EA continues their strangle hold on this game.

it hasnt been intentional, just poor wording i'd assume, im a really laid back person, but maybe in my typing people picture me wearing a pirate hat, holding a cup of coffe screaming at a computer screen ^^

Same thing.
That just designates the region. Look at a US PS2 game. It says NTSC U/C. Xbox games don't even designate the region.
Yeah, it's a boot. Everyone has already said that. If you want it, you're better off downloading an image rather than supporting bootleg sales.

Does anybody have any idea how to report an auction to eBay?

There are tons of "covers" available out there for bootleg games. I recall that when I bought my copy of Thrill Kill that i went out and found 2-3 amateur but competant back covers and inserts for the game that could be downloaded and printed out.

BTW - it is a fun game for what it is. It ain't deep, but who needs deep when you are laughing so hard.

I remember a friend who likes fighting games telling me about this site:
http://www.livingimpaired.com/thrillkill/
It's supposed to list the different versions of stuff.
I don't really like this kind of game (except the soul blades/caliburs) so I didn't check it out, but you might enjoy it.

If you're talking about reporting an auction for violating eBay's terms, then go here:
http://www.ebay.com/help/policies/hub.html
Check out the rules for sellers section. It has links to the various policies, and from there you can file complaints or report a violation.

Anyone think I should take the plunge and pay the 10 bucks to get the game?

Better decide quick. I wasn't joking when I said I reported the auction to eBay. It could be yanked at any time.
Knowing eBay though....

I do know. And I can't picture anything else, now. Not that I'd want to, that is perhaps the best image I could have stuck in my head.
