I just found this awesome program which mutes flashes or the browser you are using entirely. Works awesome when you want to listen to music & not ads or windows sounds, without having to mute your entire computer.

Thanks I got it work in FF 2.0 but make sure you check "mute whole browser" in the settings.

Hmmm, I'm using the current version of FF (which I assume to be 2.0), and it's working great. Although it crashed IE7 for me.

Check out their forums, you might be able to find a solution there.

I got the program to work with Avant Browser by editing my registry (instructions are in the FlashMute forum).

Yes, I imagine telling their user base how to mute their source of revenue (despite how annoying the ads are), might be an issue. So, I can't particularly endorse you guys using it while playing.

NetWinner or not, FlashMute is still a pretty boss program.
