That is awesome cel-shading. I would say that this could make for more animated, dynamic anime-style shows/movies/etc, but 3D animation is a real pain in the ass, so I'm not holding my breath. (The utter lack of motion in anime is most of what made me sick of watching it). Just because cel-shaded 3D models can cut down on redundant drawings, the posing and animation doesn't magically come out of thin air.

actually, much of Japan (Especially males) are into these teen idols. Basically this game from what I saw is a management type game where you raise the blonde girl from newcomer idol to stardom, fulfilling every perv's fantasies without getting too perverted. Actually I think if I were to make a game comparison, it would be like DOA Xtreme 2

Either way, these type of things are quite popular in Japan and it's good to see that MS is getting some good JP attracting games to sell there to sell more consoles which brings on more JP developers for us.

Actually no. This is a port of a RIDICULOUSLY popular arcade game of the same name.

And teenage girls aren't the ones playing....its more like middle-aged MEN.
I've seen groups of salarymen playing this game at arcades numerous times.

The Arcade game is well known since it actually interacts with your cellphone. Too much time away? the virtual girls call (or was it text) you to come play.

Either way if you see the arcade version the graphics are incredibly subpar. On the 360 these are some of the best cell shading graphics and animation i've seen on a game.

The biggest chance of getting it is an asia region free import. But i doubt they'd be able to translate all that game to english for bilingual support like they do with some games.

that was the arcade version. If you own the 360 version there's no reason for it to lure you back into the arcade to go play.

good question, it's weird it went from preorder soon and release on jan 25 to out of stock. Either it really sold out that fast or they couldnt get any.

If you buy a lot of 360 new releases at launch you'll soon save money as the Asian versions of Western developed games are usually $20 less and include English. The only game that has been an exception to this is "Bullet Witch".
I'm going to be getting "Mass Effect" for $40 as I pre-ordered the Asian version of it at Play-Asia for that price. :D
In fact I'd recommend most Americans buy a Japanese 360 over an American one for this reason then if there's a game like this in Japan you don't have to worry. The only real concern is warranty.

The Sports games seem to be slower in coming out but that's about it and unfortunately Culdcept Saga looks to be Chinese only for the Asian version though the American version will be selling for $39.99. I just hope it's not region encoded as I want to mainly use my Japanese 360 for gaming. Btw Play-Asia weren't lying about RRXX, the American version works on Japanese systems, something not too common with anyone but Capcom pretty much, with Japanese developers I mean.
I still can't understand why smaller gaming companies won't region free their stuff, like Idea Factory and games like "Wrestling Kingdom" from Yukes. I mean what's the chance of us getting these games? If we do, what's the chance they won't drag their feet in providing it to us? Look at"Senko no Rondo Rev X" and my point is made.
