VGA is better especially if you watch DVDs

I have a 26" Sony XBR and I prefer the component over the VGA.

I've used both. Currently using VGA. I think that the VGA makes the image come through clearer, but the colors look a little washed out. On the other hand the component has brighter colors, but the image doesn't come through as clear. Just my personal opinion.

This has been my experience as well. And I found it much easier to get more color saturation fiddling with my TV settings in VGA, than trying to tighten up the picture over component. So I stuck with VGA.

I actually took a poll awhile back of course i had asked for my specific tv. However, it was almost a double digit difference in votes for Component over VGA.
