Hey guys-
I'm buying an xbox 360 tommorow as a gift for Confirmation. I'm allowed to buy one game and an extra controller <says mom>. Which game should I purchase from EB Games? esrb rating doesn't matter. Keep in mind I'm not buying XBL.
Thanks for your time,
Eric

An answer soon(if not by the time this is written) will direct you to the sticky at the top of the 360 forum that recommends new games.

Only thing i can say is, buying a violent game to celebrate your confirmation just doesnt seem right :/

What type of games are you into?

Single player wise you can't go wrong with Oblivion, Dead Rising or Saint's Row.

Sounds like you should get Gears of War, all the kids are doing it.

Confirmation?

From what I understand Gears of War, While has an awsome single player is rather short. Probably the only reason IGN didn't give it a 10/10

I'm still getting it though :)

Maybe tony hawk 8, dead rising or saints row. Those 3 probably have the most to offer single player wise. Outside oblivion of course.

Confirmation?
One of the Catholic sacraments.

Gears of War would appear to be a good choice.

I also highly recommend Oblivion.

That's what I was thinking. Get the bundle at Wal-Mart and get Burnout for free then get another game on top of that. Kameo or Lego Star Wars II are both great non-ultraviolent games.

I just got Oblivion. And while I think it is cool, holy hell those load times! Man I think I could have written a novel by now during those load screens.

No idea why they didn't include an option to install to the hard drive.
