I'm in the market for a webcam and I'd like one that's decent quality for a good price.
See if you can find a PS2 EyeToy for Cheap. I found them on clearance at Circuit City for $8.97 for the original. They make great webcams.
Then use one of the following sets of instructions to get it installed on XP:
Manual instructions (for the untrusting):

Second that. The last thread asking for a good cheap cam recommended this. Picked one up off eBay for $8 and the only problem with it is the red and blue lights on it burn through your eyes. A little electrical tape solved that though.
Great quality camera though. Looks better then most $30 cameras that I have seen.

Heh, that's exactly what I did. Those bright lights are now dim glows behind the tape.
Also, I believe K-Mart should have Antigrav with the Eye Toy for $5. I picked up two last month.

Well I was thinking of the same thing. What I want to do is get a multi cable jack card and hook a web cam up with mulitple cameras.
I was thinking of getting a Camcorder ( yes the Camera Recorder like the one used back then where you hunch on yyour shoulders ) and using the cable jack. You can screw it in the wall and have it move around and flllow you.
Speaking of which my Video card was read by the Chat program that is used in CAG chat. The problem was that there is more then one input.
I forget htis webpage that was selling the Cameras. It was a MOD site but it had lots of Cameras
